Soft starter

Soft starter is a motor control device that integrates motor soft start, soft stop, light load energy saving and a variety of protection functions. Its main composition is a three-opposite parallel thyristor and its electronic control circuit connected in series between the power supply and the controlled motor. By controlling the conduction angle of the thyristor, the soft starter gradually increases the input voltage of the motor from zero to full voltage, so as to achieve smooth starting, avoid the impulse current and torque during start-up, and effectively protect the motor and related equipment
